FBAI + Burrp at Aloft Nook = Inspiration

You know what I love the most about attending a Blogger’s events? Inspiration! There is always something to see that I haven’t seen before or something to do that I haven’t done before or something to eat that I haven’t eaten before.

Or as in this case, something to drink that I haven’t drunk before.

I was invited by Burrp and the Food Bloggers Association, India for a Pre-Valentine’s Day event at Nook, Aloft. The highlight of the evening was this –

Nook Aloft Cessna Business Park

Aloft has come up with its range of flavor-infused vodkas! Yay!

Now why do I love that? Because it was not so long ago that I was thinking of experimenting with something like this myself. I was trying to find a good recipe for the most-common-flavored vodka, limoncello. I searched it for days and then I gave up on the idea altogether.

Aloft brought the idea back to me. I sure was excited to try them!

Herbs and spices bottled up with vodka were amazing to look at and there were 18 flavors to choose from.

My favorites among the ones I tried were basil and eucalyptus. Basil has a strong distinct taste and I was curious to know how it would go with the liquor. Well, it tasted really nice. The eucalyptus one was the star according to me. It smelled absolutely refreshing, almost addictive. I must have smelled it for a really long. And its taste was a surprise, not something that I was expecting.

We were also pampered with great food. I should also mention the live band which was making everything all the more enjoyable. One more shout out to Burrp for hosting us. Do check out their app available at both Google Play and App Store.

So next time you are craving to drink something “inspirational,” just head over to Nook, Aloft (Cessna Business Park) and you will not be disappointed.
